Practice Areas

David Chilenski was very fortunate to be able to switch careers to pursue his passion for aviation. He possesses an airline transport pilot certificate for multi-engine aircraft as well as commercial privileges for single engine aircraft. Before joining Saint Louis University as a flight instructor, he spent almost two years working as a first officer for a regional airline.

Prior to shifting to aviation, David had his own business providing strategic advice and public opinion research for public agencies and private clients to assess community support for a broad range of topics. His research offerings included public opinion surveys and in-person focus groups as well as the accompanying statistical analysis. He provided crucial research services for legal teams preparing for trial, candidates for various levels of office, as well as issues to gain support for schools, hospitals, libraries and parks.

David is a member of the Civil Air Patrol, the Greater St. Louis Flight Instructors Association, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
